Looking at the berthing jetty requirements in Varanasi with cruise development projects and vision of Blue Economy of the current govt., Acquafront Infrastructure Pvt Ltd was incepted by the team to implement market focused variants of SAFTJ i.e., Steel Integrated Floating Jetty (SIFJ) for berthing docks. The company was incorporated on 28th march and incubated at SIIC, IIT Kanpur in Dec’ 2018 with target installations across hotels and cruise vessel operators which will be covered in further parts of the miniseries. The SIFJ pilot installation at Guleria Ghat was undertaken in Dec’18.
